But it was my fault as the USB cable wasn't connected all the way into the adaptor. The first time didn't work and 'hardware wasn't found'.

I followed the instruction posted from a member from Bimmervest. The minature disc that came along with it didn't work but was told the softwares and drivers can be downloaded directly from their website. I recently installed the software (bought from xcar360).
